FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MEDIA CATALOG 4.1 ADDS TAGS, IMPROVES STABILITY
adding long-requested functionality in Mac OS X style

Enschede, The Netherlands - December 19, 2008 - Robert Kuilman has released a new version of Media Catalog, a media indexing application for Mac OS X. This new version continues the trend of improvement that has been set in previous releases.

Media Catalog was designed from the ground op to be a intuitive, to-the-point and no-frills indexing application that does what it needs to do, the Apple-way. Cataloging all your removable media such as archive CDs, DVDs and removable hard drives Media Catalog makes it easy for the user to find the files they need without any hassle.

Version 4.1 of Media Catalog adds support for Tags, improves stability and reliability by killing bugs. Tags has been high on the requested features list for a long time and is now here, allowing people to associate arbitrary bits of text with volumes such as storage location or department information.

Overall responsiveness with large catalogs (containing 1000 or more volumes) was improved and the user interface has been updated to fit in better next to Apple’s own software products.
